Begin in Puerto Maldonado with a transfer to the river port, followed by navigation along the Tambopata River into the reserve. The surroundings gradually shift into dense tropical forest.

In the afternoon, explore the river by boat, experiencing the Amazon ecosystem from a different perspective.

Early in the morning, travel to the macaw clay lick, where colorful macaws and parrots gather on clay cliffs, creating a dynamic natural spectacle.
Later, return to the lodge and continue with guided jungle walks, offering opportunities to observe monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
In the evening, optional night exploration allows you to spot caimans along the riverbanks.

Continue with a visit to Sandoval Lake, where a canoe excursion allows for observation of giant otters, aquatic birds and other species.
A guided walk around the lake complements the experience before returning by boat to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to your departure point.
