Itinerary

Upon arrival in Tarapoto, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel. In the afternoon, the experience begins with a short scenic drive toward Lamas, a traditional town surrounded by high jungle landscapes.
Once there, you will explore its streets and learn why it is known as the “City of Three Levels,” understanding its cultural importance in the region. The visit continues at the iconic Lamas Castle, a unique medieval-style structure where you can walk through its spaces and enjoy panoramic views of the jungle.
The day ends with a meaningful visit to the Kechwa Wayku native community, where you will connect directly with local traditions, lifestyle and cultural expressions before returning to Tarapoto.

This day takes you into the Alto Mayo Valley, one of the most biodiverse areas of the region. The journey itself is part of the experience, passing through lush landscapes, rivers and small towns.
In Rioja, you will visit the Tio Yacu spring, a natural site of crystal-clear waters surrounded by dense vegetation, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.
Later, in Moyobamba, you will enjoy a regional lunch and visit the orchid garden, where you will discover the wide variety of species that make this city famous. The experience continues with a visit to the San Mateo hot springs, ideal for relaxation, followed by a tasting of locally produced coffee, known for its quality and aroma.

The day begins with a journey toward the San José area, followed by a walk through natural jungle trails surrounded by vegetation.
You will reach the Carpishuyacu and Pishurayacu waterfalls, where you can enjoy the environment, refresh yourself and connect with nature.
The experience continues at the San José hot springs, known for their relaxing properties. The day concludes with a countryside lunch in a natural setting, creating a complete adventure experience in the jungle.

You will travel toward Laguna Azul, one of the most iconic landscapes in the region. Surrounded by lush vegetation, this destination offers a peaceful and scenic environment.
A boat ride across the lagoon allows you to appreciate its beauty from a different perspective. Afterward, you will enjoy a regional lunch with views of the water.
The afternoon is free for swimming, relaxing or simply enjoying the surroundings at your own pace before returning to Tarapoto.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Ahuashiyacu Waterfall, located within a protected natural area.
On the way, there is a stop at the Cerro Escalera viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the jungle. A short walk leads you to the waterfall, where you will have time to relax, take photos or swim.
After the visit, you will return to Tarapoto and be transferred to the airport or agreed location, marking the end of your journey.
