Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Puno – Chivay + La Calera Hot Springs

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin your journey to the Colca Valley, traveling through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Peruvian Altiplano.

Along the way, we will stop at Lagunillas Lagoon, where you can observe flamingos and other Andean bird species; the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas; and the Patapampa Viewpoint (4,910 m / 16,109 ft), where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Ampato, Sabancaya, Misti, and Chachani volcanoes.

Around midday, we will arrive in Chivay, where you will have time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax in the La Calera Hot Springs, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Colca Valley.

Finally, we will transfer you to your hotel in Chivay, where you can rest and prepare for the next day's adventure.

Day 2

Day 2: Chivay – Cruz del Condor – Arequipa

After breakfast, we will head to the famous Condor Cross Viewpoint, the best place in the Colca Canyon to witness the spectacular flight of the Andean condor over one of the deepest canyons in the world.

On the way back to Chivay, we will stop at the viewpoints of Wayrapunko, Antahuilque, and Choquetico, as well as the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque. Along the route, you will admire the Colca River and the ancient agricultural terraces that have shaped this remarkable valley for centuries.

Upon returning to Chivay, you will enjoy a buffet lunch before continuing the journey to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m., where this unforgettable experience through the Colca Valley and Canyon comes to an end.
