In the afternoon, our team will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Puno to begin the journey to the Sillustani Archaeological Complex.
Upon arrival, we will take a guided walk through the necropolis, where you will admire the chullpas of Sillustani, impressive stone mausoleums used to house mummies and ceremonial offerings. During the visit, the guide will explain the historical, architectural, and spiritual significance of the site, as well as the cultural background of the civilizations that inhabited it.
Afterward, we will visit a traditional Andean house, where you will learn about highland lifestyles. You will discover local customs, see houses built with stone, mud, and straw, and observe Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas, with Lake Umayo as a stunning backdrop.
Finally, we will return to the city of Puno, arriving around 6:00 p.m., with transfer back to your hotel.
