A cultural route between Peru and Bolivia
This tour combines sacred Andean sites like Inca Uyo and Aramu Muru with Bolivia’s archaeological heritage, offering a complete historical and cultural experience in a single day.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno at 6:30 a.m. to begin our journey across the southern Andean highlands.
Our first stop will be Chucuito, where we will visit the Inca Uyo Fertility Temple, an ancient ceremonial site associated with ancestral rituals. Afterwards, we will take a short walk through the main square of this traditional Andean town.
We will then continue to Aramu Muru, also known as Hayu Marca, where we will accompany you to the interdimensional stone portal, the stone forest, and enjoy a light walk to appreciate the landscape and take photographs.
Around 10:30 a.m., we will arrive at the Desaguadero border (Peru–Bolivia). Here, we will complete immigration procedures in both countries, which usually take approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
After crossing the border, we will continue to the Tiwanaku Archaeological Complex. At 12:30 p.m., we will enjoy a traditional lunch in Tiwanaku (HB).
Following lunch, we will begin a guided tour of the most important sectors of the archaeological complex, visiting Puma Punku, the Sun Gate, the Stone Museum, the Akapana Pyramid, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, Keri Kala, Putuni, Laka Kollu, and Wila Pukara. The guided visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
At 4:30 p.m., we will depart back toward Desaguadero, then continue our return journey to Puno, with an estimated travel time of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Arrival in Puno is around 7:00 p.m., followed by transfer to your hotel.
