Itinerary

Day 1

The tour begins at approximately 3:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Arequipa for the journey to the Colca Valley.

Along the way, we will stop to enjoy a traditional breakfast, the perfect way to recharge before continuing the adventure.

Our first destination is the Condor Cross Viewpoint, the best place to witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor over one of the deepest canyons in the world, while admiring the impressive pre-Inca agricultural terraces that shape the valley's landscape.

We will then return to Chivay, stopping at the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, where you will discover their colonial architecture, local traditions, and visit the historic Santa Ana Church in Maca. You will also have the opportunity to taste the famous Colca Sour (optional).

Next, you will relax in the La Calera Hot Springs, where the volcanic thermal waters, with temperatures between 35°C and 38°C (95°F–100°F), provide the perfect setting to unwind.

Back in Chivay, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of regional specialties.

On the return journey to Arequipa, we will stop at the Patapampa Viewpoint (Volcanoes Viewpoint), offering breathtaking views of the Andes and the Ampato, Sabancaya, Misti, and Chachani volcanoes. We will also pass through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas in their natural habitat.

Finally, at approximately 6:30 p.m., we will arrive in Arequipa and transfer you to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable experience in the Colca Valley and Colca Canyon.
